Climate Central
Freelance Science Reporter
After living in South Florida for 30 years, i moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University. I graduated from in June with my master's degree in journalism and a specialization in health, environment and science reporting.

I've traveled to Venice, Italy to learn about flooding and sea level rise impacts and mitigation strategies. I've visited Germany to learn about their energy transition policy and developing technologies. Most recently I spent time in Puerto Rico reporting on recovery efforts since Hurricane Maria and the potential for and challenges to grid modernization, energy transition and energy justice.

Right now my work focuses on climate change impacts and energy reporting, especially in the Midwest. -- But feel free to talk to me about travel, food, art and culture too.
